Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design and build a production-grade data ingestion and analytics platform. The engineer will work end-to-end, from ingestion and processing pipelines to analytical data models and ETL orchestration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data ingestion pipelines
• Build and maintain LLM wrappers for document understanding, enrichment, and classification
• Develop scalable ETL and ELT pipelines following bronze, silver, gold medallion principles
• Ensure data quality, observability, and reproducibility across pipelines
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to expose clean, well-documented datasets
• Productionize prototypes and ensure reliable operation in cloud or hybrid environments 

Requirements:

• Strong experience in data engineering and data platform development
• Solid Python skills and experience building production data pipelines
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or NLP models via APIs or open-source frameworks
• Experience with medallion architecture and modern data lakehouse patterns
• Familiarity with orchestration tools and automated ETL workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, clear documentation habits, and readiness to collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams
• Proactivity
• Proficiency in written and spoken English

Nice to have:

• Experience with Azure, Databricks, or similar cloud data platforms
• Experience with Spark or distributed data processing
• Exposure to on-prem or regulated environments
• Experience building internal data products or platforms
